Vegan chocolate peppermint brownies


  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ⅔ cup coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 2 ⅔ cups melted dark chocolate (dairy-free)
  • 2 cups dairy free milk (almond or oat work best)
  • 1 cup chopped dark chocolate (optional)
  • 1 cup whipped coconut cream (to top the brownie)
  • 1 pint of Fiasco’s Dairy Free Dark Chocolate Sorbetto


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder and sugar until combined
  2. Add oil, vanilla, melted chocolate and almond milk
  3. Mix together until smooth and combined
  4. Add chopped dark and mix gently
  5. Grease an 8×8 baking pan or place parchment paper on the bottom of the dish
  6. Pour batter into baking pan and smooth out the batter with a knife
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  8. Once brownie is cool to the touch, slice and serve with a scoop of Fiasco Gelato’s Dairy Free Dark Chocolate Sorbetto
